The Kivijata boulder filed photographed at an interval of ca. 120 years. Photograph on left by J.J. Sederholm in 1891 - 1900 (GTK, Vanhat kuvat nro. 699), photograph on right by Pasi Talvitie in August 2018. Forestation in the area has changed the landscape. The young pine in Sederholm's photograph has long since died, but the dry trunk lies still on the boulder field.
