Katikankanjoni is an erosional gorge formed in sandy ground by waters flowing from the Kauhaneva mire and Kauhalampi lake during the last 9000 years. A lush and peaceful little gorge where a little stream meanders continues downstream and grows into the Hyyppä valley. Katikankanjoni is part of the Kauhaneva-Pohjankangas National Park.
