At the shore of an ancient island (Hämeenkangas, Other areas)

Soininharju and Niiniharju were formed between two ice sheets, from material deposited by glacial meltwaters. After the ice age, the ridge was an island in the Ancylus sea. The water level was at 180 meters above current sea level. There was 20 meters of water cover in this location.
